Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. For Clients & Individuals

1. Who assesses if you are qualified for free legal service?

A lawyer will assess if you qualify for free legal service. Please bring a signed Qualified Beneficiary Form and the required documents to a lawyer. If you are qualified, he will notarize the Qualified Beneficiary Form and complete a Covered Lawyer’s Certification stating that he has assessed you and confirmed your eligibility.

After this, another lawyer will provide the actual free legal service once your qualification has been certified.

2. What if there’s no lawyer for me?

If none of the volunteer lawyers are able to handle the Client’s concern, the client may be referred to the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) for appropriate assistance. Our network is still continually growing.
